But where did it all begin?

Our Story.

Meet The Founder

Henry Shannon’s life is a testament that hard work and a commitment to serving others can bring about great success. Henry’s early childhood started in the Cabrini Green Projects on Chicago’s near North Side. His life and upbringing were far from normal, and what many may say, a miracle to see where he is today. He was raised in an environment where drug and gang affiliation were the norms, which brought about a fair share of struggles and hardships.

Henry’s determination to break the cycle of suppression and generational poverty at a young age motivated him to dream big, believing that one day he’d start his own business and help those just like him. Henry soon discovered that the key to success was honoring others and yourself. With this driven mindset, Henry made it his life’s purpose to pursue a career filled with service for others.

Henry went from working at Mcdonald's as a crew member and shift manager to becoming a leading trainer at one of the US leading transportation companies, but how? 

In 2015, Henry’s determination and commitment to not becoming another statistic in the world was finally acknowledged by his “Granny.” She allowed him to live rent-free with her, which allowed Henry to pay for CDL training, which would later be the foundation of his breakthrough in the trucking industry. 

After working and climbing the ladder at one of the leading transportation companies in the U.S., and after 5 years of serving the company as an unprecedented driver and lead trainer for the company, Henry decided it was time to provide more opportunities to hardworking men and women in the trucking and logistics industry.

And with that declaration, Honorable Transportation was born.

Honorable Transportation offers career-defining opportunities for eager learners who want to become CDL-certified truck drivers. As a new driver applying without prior experience, we provide you with:

  1. Access to CDL testing preparation

  2. Convenient study hours for the CDL Test program

Join Our Learn. Train. Grow Program TM

Become a CDL-certified driver in no time and enjoy the following benefits as a company driver:

  • 18-24 months after working with our company, you qualify to have your CDL fee ($5,000) waived.

  • Complete training in 4-6 weeks

  • Avoid having to find a job after receiving your CDL.

  • You’ll have access to hands-on training with a trainer.

  • Drivers are allowed to complete the required 175-250 BTW hours with a trained and licensed Honorable Driver
